The strange death of Tory England?
What struck me about the delightful joy that is Quentin Davies' defection to Labour is that I cannot recall a defection from a party 10 years into opposition. You would have thought they would be on the way back to power after a decade and MP's wonderful and noble public servants that they are tend not to defect from parties on the brink of power.

So will the Tories ever regain power? Well the same question was asked of Labour in the wilderness years and now we are looking for a fourth election victory so I suspect that the Tory beast is only sleeping but of course I could be wrong....
