Is it cause I is short?
How does Sarko intend to win the French presidential election? Is it by slagging off immigrants and slashing the public sector? Is it by being pathologically ambitious? Well for Sarko they all help but the real reason he thinks that you should vote for him is that he's a crazy disco dancer.

I grant you he is not Le Pen but he is certainly a right wing egomaniac and they tend to stuff a country once they get in charge.
Non; Bayrou is centre-right, Sarkozy certain isn't (he's still Republican Right rather than Extreme Right o/c).
And what he'll do to win (I'm being pessimistic here) is blatently appeal to Le Pen's voters in the runoff against Royal. Some rather ugly (and hypocritical; Sarkozy is part Hungarian) language will be used, which should be enough to put him over the magic 50%.
O/c it's still possible that Chirac (who o/c hates Sarkozy) will enter the race as a sort of electoral suicide bomber with the intention of preventing Sarkozy from reaching the second round.
