BBC gets it wrong again...
Lets get this right Manchester is not in any way, shape or form a second city. It is the best city in this country and if any Londoner want to disagree go talk to rush hour tube users. Go on I dare you.

Sorry Will, much as I love labour Manchester, its in no position to compete with London. Used public transport in Manchester, have you lately?!
There is just something about a packed tube train that I really don't like so I would choose a rush hour bus on the oxford rd over it though I grant you it is not the best experience that it is possible to enjoy.
