  Christmas digest
The worst Christmas present I got was a book entitled "150 years of the Daily Telegraph". Apparently the buyer didn't know it was a rightwing paper, sometimes I worry for democracy. Ebay!

Otherwise it was a really good traditional Christmas. The turkey was a bit to dry and the vegtables a bit to overcooked. There were no really major family arguments so it was just like the perfect Christmas's of my childhood.

I have been working on an article on the challenges that the emergence of Chinese power will have on the international system but as I haven't finished it yet you will have to wait until Friday.

Comments:
Are they playing cricket now too??

I've just noticed the spolling. Evidentally no shortage of spell-inducing beers, wines and spirits then? Sadly Mr Qassim Afzal's office in Manchester has been burglarised in yet another Cheetham-Gate Conspiracy. Martin Pagel is not responsible as at the time he was using his crutch and his one unbroken arm to fight off some nasty yobs, ahem single handedly. Top alibi.

Now now Chris, play nicely!

I was educated under a Tory government so any spelling errors are put down to that rather than alcolhol consumption.

And of course it was the Tories who started cheapening the "alcolhol" available in our schools.
