  As if by magic
Parburypolitica yesterday

A missive reaches me from one Fiona Gordon. You can now get Tony at a knock down price but be quick as before you know it he will be going, going, gone. If you want one get in touch and I shall forward on.

Just a reminder that we still have a few DVDs of the Leader's Speech to conference in Manchester which also has the Labour Achievements film. It is a little bit of Labour history and only costs £5. If you would like one or more please let me know as soon as possible.

Fiona Gordon
Director of Unit and Secretary to PLP

the Guardian diary today

· We are indebted to a moving email from Labour's Fiona Gordon for the inexplicable news that there are still a few copies left of the historic DVD featuring Mr Tony's last ever speech to conference and the lump-in-throat Labour Achievements film (or LAF if you live north of Watford). Reduced to clear at £5 a shot, they're the perfect stocking filler. (Okay, we made up the "reduced to clear" bit. But they are only a fiver. A bargain, really.)

Clearly great minds me thinks ....

Comments:
bugger, I didn't get this email! mind you, I dont get any emails from the Labour Party anymore, since they are so bloody ineot at updating my change of details.

but we love them so.

;P

Well I got it through a seditious organisation that shall remain nameless rather than Labour Party proper. So we can deduce that Scrybe is free from such tainted influences . Probably a good thing.

Though you would be suprised at the numbers of Labour right wingers who keep the left afloat with subscriptions to keep an eye on the trot tendency.

For the record I didn't leak it to the Guardian diary I just can't disprove that JH wasn't reading my blog. Though saying that the Guardian diary is a weapon of choice especially against tory MP's with monsterous travel expense claims.

I shall say no more on this lest I incriminate myself.

I can confirm, from a trusted source ahem close to the actual leaker, that Mr Henley didn't get it from Parburypolitica or indeed direct from the scarey and seditious organisation you refer to, democratic socialists no less. This source was rather proud of having spotted the LAF acronym and coined the lump-in-the-throat. But disappointed that Henley didn't also exploit the fun to be had with Ms Fiona's surname which one wag - entirely unrelated to this trusted source - had claimed on an even more seditious lefty e-group that Ms fiona had just changed her family name from Anthony to Gordon. Obviously she should have changed it to John! There's still time. Incidentally there was some lefty goss on the back benches of the council chamber at last night's Manchester City Party GC. Viz that Mr Tony was planning to announce his departure date In January - 2007. Unlikely said a nearby parliamentary worker whose master has been calling for Blair to go for a couple of years now.

Well I never said I did it. I was merely allowing the dear readers of this blog to know that they can read for free here the day before what they pay 70p to read the day after in the guardian.

Obviously you never said you did it! That would have been a fib!! And in the Labour Party old new or indifferent we simply don't do that! Incidentally there is a cracking tale on the Lib Fibs blog about a scotch Lib Dem (geddit?) who asked a question - as did John Leech identically - about cluster bombs. Turns out this scotch man used to be a PR man for the firm that makes the damned things. And has visited them to encourage their industry since he was elected. And there was me about to finally catch Leech doing something right. But no. He asked a question in tandem with a cluster-bomb-hypocrite.

lol, I only just read this. You might want to peruse my recent post on the death of an old trot.
