Respec stylee to the Huqster
My mate Rupa Huq has a book out.
Here's some of the Blurb

Rupa will know what CCCS means as she has a PhD in this stuff. Clever girl that she is.
It goes on to say "It uses bhangra, hip-hop and dance music styles in particular to argue that new models (Kate Moss being past it) are needed to explain the relationship between young people, creative and cultural industries, expressive arts and wider social processes in the twentyfirst century." Genius i'm sure you will agree. Not only does she master the theorectical she also spins the wheels of steel as a DJ once in a while.

Also if any of you lot are looking for a candidate for a safe Labour seat at the next election Dr Huq has already been a candidate in 2 unwinnables and is on the look out for a seat in the Commons to be the first asian women ever to get elected to parliament. By the way CCCS is the Centre for Contemporary Cultural studies part of the university of Birmingham who pumped out looaaaaaaadddddddssss of youff research in the 70s thus setting the standard until this very day.

She lived in Manchester for 5 years and was a lecturer at your uni but lives in Ealing at the mo. She was on the 2004 Northwest European list up here.
I was seriously unimpressed with Rupa when I came across her during a 2005 parliamentary selection. I presume she's a relative to merit such undeserved praise!

As I said in the post she is a friend of mine and I happen to think she would make a great MP unlike yourself who goes around posting anonymously bitching about people who have more talent than yourselfzez
