The government should institute a regular annual Life Chances Audit which details progress on improving and equalising life chances for children and young people in the UK. It would bring together evidence on all the main strands of work across government that address inequalities in life chances, and would inform the media and public debate about the key facts and trends in inequalities in the UK. ¶ 5:37 am
